WHS Counselor

 KU HONORS PROGRAM will be held to honor top 3% of their high school class.  We will be the hosting school this year on Nov. 1 @ 6:30-8:00.  Congratulations to our students: Jordan Haya, Nate Settle, and Emily Supernaw!  Thank you to Mary Stuewe and KU alumni society for paying for the students and their parents! Puffy's is catering this event! Yum!

LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY and RELAY FOR LIFE  will be having a fundraiser with the students at WHS.  Pennies  and extra change can be placed in the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade sponsor's classroom!  March 9 the students can Wear their Hat to Support Relay for Life for a $2 donation.  Gatorade and Sobe Life Water will be on sale during the day for students to purchase at the Cheap price of $1.00, with many thanks to Pepsi Bottling, HyVee and Dillons for their kind donations of the drinks.  We also have luminaries on sale for $10 to display the night of Relay for Life Walk and Footprints for $2 to place around the school saying we have supported Relay for Life. 
The class that raises the most money percentage wise will receive a nice meal from Olive Garden.  Last year the Freshmen won, wonder who will make it this year!! Bring your change and make a difference in the life of someone with Cancer!
